To make the process of scheduling a visit as simple as possible for families and support persons, AHS has developed a new online tool to schedule and coordinate visits online.

This new online booking form is specific for the indoor social visits and virtual visits, and can be found on the AHS website at: ahs.ca/ccvisit.

Direct links to each CapitalCare site's booking form are below. If you are unable to use the online form, you can schedule a visit by calling the phone number for the site:

-CapitalCare Dickinsfield, 780.371.6553
-CapitalCare Grandview, 780.496.7108
-CapitalCare Lynnwood, 780.341.2357
-CapitalCare Norwood, 780.496.3200
-CapitalCare Strathcona, 780.467.3366
-Kipnes Centre for Veterans, 780.442.5700
-Laurier House Lynnwood, 780.413.4712
-Laurier House Strathcona, 780.467.3366
-McConnell Place North, 780.496.2575
-McConnell Place West, 780.413.4901

Please make sure the resident you would like to connect with lives at Laurier House Lynnwood and not CapitalCare Lynnwood. If you submit the request to the wrong site, it will be rejected with this information, and you will have to submit a new request to the correct centre, which may delay your connection.

If you would like to schedule a visit with a resident of the CapitalCare Adult Duplexes, you can call 780.371.6500.

Please note: Designated family/support persons for most CapitalCare centres should continue to arrange their standing schedule visits with their appropriate Care Manager. Designated support persons for residents CapitalCare Grandview and McConnell Place North can use the above online forms for their centres.

Note: All visitors coming into our buildings (DSP or others) must complete the screening. To fast track the process, please complete the screening process below:

Pre-visit Online Screening Process

When using the online form to request a visit, you will receive an email confirming that we received your request and a follow up email with instructions. Please make sure your email address is spelled correctly, and check your Junk folder if you do not receive a confirmation email. If for some reason we are unable to accommodate your request, you will receive an email directing you to request a visit for another time or date.

Every effort will be made to accommodate visits at preferred times, while taking into consideration the needs and safety of other residents, staff and visitors. If you have already booked a visit and would like to reschedule or cancel your visit, please call the site directly.

We ask for your continued patience and understanding as we switch over to this new online booking process. You should find the booking process smoother and easier, while maintaining the proper public health safety measures in place to keep everyone safe.

We want your visit to be comfortable and safe. If you have questions, concerns, or feedback, please do not hesitate to contact James Leask at 780.413.4743. We are committed to working with you to keep everyone safe and healthy.
