There are a few options for connecting with your loved ones in CapitalCare Centres right now:

Letters/emails/postcards - Physical letters and postcards can be mailed to CapitalCare centres or dropped off at the front doors. If you have email messages to send to your loved ones, email them to research@capitalcare.net and we will make sure they are printed and shared with your loved ones. You can also send digital postcards using the Let's Connect program.

Phone calls - If your loved one is unable to make or receive calls by themselves, a CapitalCare staff member can help facilitate a call at a prescheduled time.

Video calls (i.e. FaceTime, Skype, Zoom) - CapitalCare staff can operate a tablet to facilitate a video call with your loved one at a prescheduled time. Your loved one does not need to have their own tablet.

Window visits - CapitalCare staff can help bring your loved one to a main floor room with a window, to see multiple family members

Outdoor visits - Physically distanced (2m) visits can be arranged between the resident, one designated essential visitor and one other visitor. Only two visitors at a time are allowed for outdoor visits.
